COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR AND CSI ACTOR, JOE KELLY JOINS RED TRUCK FILMS

RALEIGH, N.C. (March 25, 2008) - Director/actor Joe Kelly recently signed with Red Truck Films.  Kelly is an acclaimed director who has worked for agencies across the US, Europe and Asia including Ground Zero, GSD&M, JWT/London.

Originally from Boston, Kelly moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting, where he created a niche for himself playing secondary roles in feature films and television shows. Currently, he stars as Officer Joe Metcalf on the hit show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.  He has also been in many feature films such as Armageddon, The Rock and Gone in Sixty Seconds.

His 12 years of on-camera experience explains his keen eye for casting and memorable talent direction. His roles both in front and behind the camera provide Kelly with a unique perspective that feeds the humor and believable characters in his work.  At times, he even gets to mix his personal passion for hockey with work, just as he did for Fox Sports Net.

Kelly says of his directing style, “I have a great desire to be creative and love every aspect of directing commercials from the script all the way through post-production. I love the storytelling. It excites me to work as a team with the creatives, the clients and the crews to solve problems.  I get a rush out of the ability to tell a story and the pressure of making the right choices as a director.”
